Pacifica Veterans Memorial Monument

Pacifica Veterans Memorial Monument

In 2019, a group of Terra Nova High School alumni recognized the need for a permanent outdoor memorial to honor Pacificans who have given their lives in service to their country. This inspiration led to the creation of the Pacifica Veterans Memorial Group, a mix of Pacifica natives, veterans, and local high school alumni who committed to working together to make the monument a reality.

The monument, dedicated November 11, 2021 and re-dedicated May 29, 2023, when landscaping was completed, commemorates 14 Pacificans who died while serving their country. The monument is located at 555 Buel Ave., Rockaway Beach, Pacifica, California. Their stories are remembered and honored below.
