If you wish to contest a parking ticket, you may send your letter and the citation to the above address. Your citation will be returned to the department for an administrative review. Once the process is complete, you will be notified in writing of the outcome. The police department does not accept payment for citations.
If you are an adult who has received a traffic violation citation and you need additional information, call the Southern Branch Traffic Court at 650-363-4300. If you are a juvenile who has received a traffic violation citation, call the Juvenile Traffic Court at 650-312-8887.

Fix it Tickets
The Pacifica Police Department provides free inspections and sign-off for violations relating to registration and defective vehicle equipment. Please bring the original citation and your vehicle/registration to the police station and come to the front Records counter during business hours to initiate the process.

8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Please note that San Mateo county agencies are not able to sign off tickets for any proof of insurance violations. You must bring your proof of insurance and your citation to the Southern Branch Traffic Court at 500 County Center in Redwood City, for correction.
