Beach Parking Paid Hours of Operation & Daily Parking Fees

Purchase Daily Parking at Parking Pay Machines (Kiosks) located in each lot.  For parking pay machine (Kiosks) issues contact 650-738-3760. Some Pay Machines will only accept Credit Card, Debit Card, Apply Pay and Android Pay.

NOTE: At the new pay stations, you will be required to enter your license plate number. TIP: Take a picture of your license with your phone for easy access.

Daily fee to park one vehicle is $7 for a period of fewer than 4 hours and $9 for a period of more than 4 hours (or all day). 

Hours for paid parking Pacifica State Beach Lot A & B are 8:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M each day.

• Lot C ONLY (Pacifica Community Center/Crespi Front Lot)

• Hours for paid parking will be from 8:00 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. Monday-Friday.
• Hours for paid parking will be from 8:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Weekends and Holidays.

Daily fee is for one motor vehicle and is non-transferable.  Fee authorizes vehicle parking during paid parking hours on the calendar day (or the remaining portion thereof) that the fee is paid. Once purchased, the daily permit must be placed face-up on the dashboard of the vehicle so that it is viewable at all times by enforcement officials. City is not response able for damage, lost or stolen property. 

Parking of a vehicle in the Parking Lots without a clear exterior display of a valid receipt or valid pass for said vehicle will constitute an offense for which a parking citation may be issued to the registered owner of said vehicle. Please be advised that Parks, Beaches and Recreation Department does NOT dispute citations. You will need to review the Pacifica PD webpage for instructions or call 650-738-7314

The California Explorer Vehicle Day Use Annual Pass is NOT honored at the Pacifica State Beach North, South and Crespi Lots.  For more information, please visit the CA Department of Parks and Recreation website

Pacifica State Beach Annual Parking Pass

 Purchase a Pass online, if using a mobile device to purchase, you MUST go the full website to access the Memberships tab to purchase the Annual Beach Parking Pass you will need:

• Vehicle Year
• Vehicle Make
• License plate number

 The Pacifica State Beach Annual Parking Pass is currently being offered for $76.00* per annual year. Allows you to park in both North and South Pacifica State Beach Parking Lots on Hwy 1 and the Crespi Front Parking Lot (located on the corner of Crespi Drive & HWY 1) adjacent to the Pacifica Community Center. Beach Parking is NOT allowed at the rear of the Community Center.

*Fee tendered for any pass, including third-party vendor fees are non-refundable. A transaction fee is set by the third-party vendor and will be charged for all online purchases.

Parking passes purchased online will be mailed to the address listed on the customer account.

Print a copy of the receipt for your records. The receipt can be placed on the dashboard of your vehicle and used as a temporary pass until the physical pass arrives via USPS.

Parking Passes are valid for 1 year after the date of purchase; may be purchased at any time. Pass will expire at the end of the month purchased.

You may only renew a pass during the month it expires.

Parking passes will be issued for one vehicle and are not transferable to any other person or vehicle. 

Parking Pass must be permanently affixed to the inside the driver's window on the vehicle for which the pass was purchased. MUST BE VIEWABLE AT ALL TIMES by enforcement official.

City is not responsible for lost, stolen or misplaced passes for any reason. A new pass can be purchased at the current price.

If you purchase a different vehicle or replaced your windshield during the year, bring the pass into the Parks Beaches and Recreation office and it can be replaced for $10.00 (cash or check only).   If pass is not brought in, you MUST pay the full price of the pass.

Possession of pass does not guarantee a parking space. Parking is first-come, first-serve basis.

Pacifica State Beach (North Lot)

The North Lots is located at 5000 Pacific Coast Hwy, Pacifica, CA 94044. The Parking lost is just south of Crespi Drive on the right side. There are two entrances. Amenities include public restrooms, handicap parking area, beach parking kiosk, beach access and walking paths.

Pacifica State Beach (South Lot B)

The South lot B can be accessed from Highway 1 off of CA-1 & Linda Mar Blvd. Pacifica, CA 94044. Amenities include public restrooms, handicap parking, 30 minutes temporary drop-off spots, oversized parking areas, garbage receptacles, beach access and walking paths.

Crespi Front Lot

The Crespi Front Lot is located on the corner of Crespi Drive a Highway 1 adjacent to the Pacifica Community Center located at 540 Crespi Drive Pacifica, CA 94044. Amenities include public restrooms, handicap parking, beach parking pass kiosk (purchase day pass), and beach access at the light crossing Highway 1.
