The second dance of the 24-25 school year will be on November 22nd, 2024, at the Pacifica Community Center, from 7-9pm. Theme: Turkey Twist! Tickets will go on sale the week before the dance. Please check in with your school to know when tickets are on sale. Tickets are cash only!

Dance Information
All dances have a maximum capacity and may not be sold over the ticket allotment. J-teen dances are held from 7:00pm to 9:00pm during the school year at the Pacifica Community Center on 540 Crespi Dr. The doors open at 7:00pm and close at 7:30pm. There are no "ins-and-outs" and teens are not allowed to leave until 9:00pm or until picked up by a parent or guardian who walks to the door. Students are required to have photo identification upon entry.
Ticket Prices
Dance tickets are $10 before the Friday of the dance at 1:30pm and are sold for at least one week before the dance. Please note all city offices are closed at 1:30pm on Fridays. Please remember tickets are CASH ONLY!
Ticket Rules
Tickets are sold on a first come, first served basis and must be done in-person. Tickets are non-transferable. A valid School ID is required to be shown with the J-Teen Dance Ticket for entry into the dance. If a student does not have a School ID, they must get a print out from school office showing proof of school and grade in school or have a parent/guardian present to verify their identity. Yearbooks will not be accepted as a form of ID.
Where to Buy a Ticket
Sale sites are the Pacifica Community Center, and at various Pacifica schools. Ask your school's Parent Teacher Organization about ticket sales on campus. Students living in but not attending school in Pacifica should obtain tickets at the Community Center during office hours (8am-5pm Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 8am-7:30pm Wednesday, and 8am-1:30pm Friday). Notice will be posted if tickets are no longer available for sale.

Dress Code
Recreation Staff in attendance will be the final judges of appropriateness. If student does not meet the dress code, the parent will be called for a change of clothes or given an oversized camp T-shirt (when appropriate).
- All pants, shorts, and skirts must be appropriately fitted at the waist
- No extremely short shorts. Tops must cover appropriately.
- Skirt length must meet the tips of fingers when arms are fully extended hanging to the side.
- No clothing or hats that indicate obscenities, violence, gang affiliation, drug, tobacco, alcohol, or sexual nature.
