One area of focus for the Pacifica Department of Public Works is to maintain streets and medians throughout the city in an efficient and cost-effective manner while providing a high level of customer service and a safe work environment for city employees.

The maintenance and repair of the city’s transportation infrastructure encompasses a variety of aspects in addition to the streets themselves, including sidewalks, storm drains, street lights, street signs and traffic lights and markings.
